FOUNDERS
Michelle and Peter Farmer are a husband and wife team who joined forces to combine a business and real estate acumen with a creative eye for fine fashion design and a discerning clientele. With Michelle as the creative visionary and Peter as the CFO of the company, they have established a thriving business with Michelle Farmer Collaborate. They have their finger on the pulse of the consumer who wants to dress in something original not found on fashion’s main avenues.
Michelle’s first design venture was in 2007 in fine jewelry with a by-appointment boutique in East Hampton, New York, her creations influenced by her time spent traveling the world. In 2011 Michelle and Peter opened their flagship store in Palm Beach Fl and soon after in the Hamptons followed by the Dorado Beach Ritz Carlton Reserve, The Boca Raton, and the Arizona Biltmore.
Michelle and Peter Farmer split time with their two Springer Spaniels between homes in Palm Beach, Florida and Bridgehampton, New York.
ABOUT THE BOUTIQUES
The boutiques feature Michelle Farmer’s own original fashion designs of versatile pieces known for beautiful fabrics and flattering fit. Her line includes richly hued blouses, flowing silk dresses, chic shorts, statement pants, and gorgeous gowns. Her label can also be customized in a variety of fine fabrics such as silk, sequin, velvet or linen. With her atelier in West Palm Beach, Florida, Farmer is expanding her line with the made in the USA appeal. For the discerning client, Farmer has bespoke services to create custom gowns for all occasions including weddings. The brand philosophy of Michelle Farmer Collaborate includes a carefully curated selection of elevated emerging designers from the US and Europe, presenting beautiful and unique designs not found anywhere else. These include not only fashion but fine jewelry, coats, hand bags, shoes, lingerie, swimwear, eyewear and accessories; a top to bottom approach to putting together the perfect ensemble.
At Michelle Farmer Collaborate the shopping experience is as important as the fashion and devotees follow her boutiques across the seasons. The success of the first store in Palm Beach, Florida led to expansion with boutiques in Southampton, New York followed by the Boca Raton Resort and Club in Boca Raton, Florida and her latest outpost at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, Arizona.
Each bright and inviting store with original art, lighting and decoration offers a premium experience where our sales associates style women for anything from a day at the beach to a black-tie event. Michelle Farmer Collaborate is known not only for its fine resort lines but for a year-round wardrobe ranging from chic casual to formal wear. Each boutique offers a variety of trunk shows allowing customers to interact with the international designers and special charity shopping events. For Farmer, it is like welcoming guests into her own home.
